Beau (Bo) Robert Alden Short, Jr. died Dec. 23, 2022, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was 70.
Beau traveled with the gypsies in Europe and came to appreciate their freedom and their love for music. He traveled the world working with many famous bands and musicians. When he met Jimi Hendrix, Jimi told him that if there was a paradise on earth it was Maui. Beau lived on Maui for 40 years. He performed in many venues throughout Hawaii for decades. His gifted music and incredible bluesy voice engaged and entertained. He created memorable experiences in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Maui Hawaii.
There will be a celebration of Beau’s life and “Farewell Concert” at Heritage Hall, Paia on January 22, 2023 (401 Baldwin Avenue, Suite 201, Paia, HI 96779).
