About Beau "Bo" Shores

Beau started out as a tap dancer and stand up comedian with his first TV performance at 6 years old. As a teenager he was a drummer and bass player and started playing guitar at 13 years old. Music became his life, his passion and his guide.

Beau traveled with the gypsies in Europe and came to appreciate their freedom and their love for music. He traveled the world working with many famous bands and musicians. When he met Jimi Hendrix, Jimi told him that if there was a paradise on earth it was Maui.

Beau lived on Maui for 40 years. He performed in many venues throughout Hawaii for decades. His gifted music and incredible bluesy voice engaged and entertained. He created memorable experiences in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Maui Hawaii.

Beau passed away on December 23, 2022 at 3:16am. His life was blessed, inspired and musical. He played music all his life.

He created Blues Gypsy Funk 'n' Flamenco, a passionate blend of blues and gypsy guitar styles with deep bluesy vocals.

He left his friends and family with an appreciation for music of all kinds and a deep love for Maui as a paradise to live and play music. He played music every day. He collected and treasured many guitars. He spontaneously composed and sang many special songs for those he loved.

His voice will resound for all of us.

We love you Beau. We miss you.
